the final series (s5) of The Wire starts tonights on FX here in the UK. I'm hating myself for having no self restraint and watching the whole dang thing on t'interweb, but will watch it again tonight and on my pre-ordered dvd boxset (that and my 'vote carcetti' tshirt, ya heard?). Anyway, for those of you who have remained deaf to my constatnt exhortations, you can now catch up on series 1-4 of The Wire here, in 4 minutes flat. For fellow Wire heads, I'd do it too, for comedy value if nothing else ("Mcnulty drinks.."). That is all.
